Who is the guy behind Orthodox Day?
I am an Orthodox Inquirer (or Catechuman depending on how you view my fuzzy, seemingly in-between status).
I live outside of Denver and, as time allows, attend St. Augustine of Hippo Orthodox Church in Denver. (I try to catch services at the other Western Rite churches in or around Denver too.)
I am a pretty ordinary guy…not someone you should ask for Eastern Orthodox religious or theological advice. A priest would be a much better candidate for that. 🙂

This site is to share my thoughts and observations as I explore Orthodoxy.
I realize that I haven’t revealed much. I prefer, for now, to remain anonymous.
Oh…final bit of info. I was not religious growing up, and have been a member of various churches. However, for the last 15, I’ve attended a Church of Christ. This is an interesting discussion about that fellowship of churches from Andrew Stephen Damick’s Orthodox and Heterodoxy: Finding the Way to Christ in a Complicated Religious Landscape. See Restorationism until Adventism.
What had me start looking at Eastern Orthodoxy? Please check out the Orthodox belief in theosis (also called deification).
